Royal Mail Celebrates Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary

Royal mail has created unique postmarks for each of the home towns of all the actors to have played the Eleven Doctors. This Means that all stamped mail sent from David Tennant's home town will have a special postmark celebrating 50 years of Doctor Who with the name of the actor on it.

It's times like these that I wish I lived in Europe. It's ok though I suppose. Being the whovian that I am I ordered my set of stamps as soon as they became available.
The set I really wanted was the one below.

The complete collection of 13 First Day Covers each featuring the Royal Mail Doctor Who Stamps, but sad to say there were two things that stopped me from that, one the set was £195 (roughly $295 US) and they sold out very quickly. I'm sure anyone that ended up with a set of these is going to make a killing if they decided to sell them.

If they don't sell out before I can get them I would like to get a sheet of these.

The Monster's Mini Sheet.
it features the Ood, Cybermen, Weeping Angels and of course the Daleks. The sheet also includes the TARDIS at the center.  I suppose if I can't order it from the Royal Mail I will probably be able to find them on Ebay or Amazon sometime when I have the money.

There are a few different specialty sheets available, like the Doctor Who Presentation Pack and the Doctor Who Prestige Stamp Book, but I like the ones I pictured the best.

Justin Bieber Dresses Like Shiloh Jolie Pitt

I think Justin Bieber has been watching the way Shiloh Jolie Pitt dresses and has been trying to steal her swag. She dresses like a tomboy, when you get older people say you dress like a lesbian. So maybe he intentionally dressing like a lesbian? Who knows, but I put together some pictures of Shiloh Jolie Pitt and Justin Bieber in similar outfits.

See here are several instances where they are dressed in near identical outfits.

Justin with the same hair cut as Ellen.

Justin Bieber dressed the same as Ellen Degeneres.

Oh wait just a second. Here is a picture of Shiloh Jolie Pitt dressed like Ellen Degeneres. Ok so maybe I was wrong. Hollywoods youth are just so impressed by Ellen's style they are dressing like her.

Here is a picture of the Bieb getting beat up. He isn't really it was for a photo shoot for a magazine. I didn't know what they were until I found this pic, so I decided to check them out. They have some interesting articles.

I'm not much of a blogger, but thanks for checking it out anyways.

Dirty Mouth!

There are all sorts of things out there with crazy names that go in your mouth. Sometimes it may just be bad english translations, but sometimes I think these are intentionally dirty, so people will buy them for a laugh. Here are some of my favorite "dirty foods."

Limited edition NutKick candy

Cock Soup Mix, spicy, because cock soup isn't good unless it's spice.

Stik Tahu wants you to eat Poo, those chips look delicious. If you aren't really into poo, the maybe you'll like these next chips.

Megapussi! That might be just a little bit to much pussi for you.

If that's the case then you can always get minipussi.

Here is my favorite though, I like my pussi to be a jussipussi.

That would be a golden gaytime in my mouth. :p

Oh yes please, I'll have a few slices of semen toast.

And a fart for dessert.

Or should we get cock on the mountain top? Those cock banans look a little sticky.

Nothing says great snack like Only Puke. I'm starting to think that there are a few crazy american's helping with the english translations of chinese snack foods.

I'm not one hundred percent sure what is going on in this picture. Could be some sort of gay foreplay or they are trying to say these Doritos are so good even if you got stomped in the nuts you'd be happy.

I think I want to have kids now. So I can freak my mom out and say yeah mom, I just let her have Nude Crunky Balls, then I went out and got her...

a few big nuts.

Dickmann's cream isn't just for men, its for young boys as well. Oh Super.

lol, you can go for a run with one of these in your back pocket. Then if people ask you if you ever work out you can say. Naw, last time I went for a jog I dropped a chocolate log.

See I told you he wasn't creepy. He just wanted your boy to eat his honey balls. They are nutritious for children.

I want a nice cold glass of Sars.

And for your pussy, here is a little pussy pop. Because you don't want your pus to dehydrate.

This is a warning label. After you eat these it will make you take a hot shitto peppers.

A quote I like

Wanna make a monster? Take the parts of yourself that make you uncomfortable — your weaknesses, bad thoughts, vanities, and hungers — and pretend they’re across the room. It’s too ugly to be human. It’s too ugly to be you. Children are afraid of the dark because they have nothing real to work with. Adults are afraid of themselves.

Rapid Color Changing Chemistry!

Rapid Color Changing Chemistry!
Sometimes it’s hard to tell SCIENCE from MAGIC - and this little demonstration is a great example of that. In this experiment you will watch an almost clear liquid suddenly turn dark blue in a flash. It takes a bit of preparation, and probably a trip to the pharmacy for materials, but we think it’s worth it.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: This experiment should only be done with the help of an adult. Iodine will stain just about anything it touches and it can be hazardous. Hydrogen peroxide can cause eye and skin irritation - safety goggles are needed throughout the experiment. Be sure your helpful adult reads the caution labels on each container.

  • 3 clear plastic cups 4 ounces or larger
  • A 1000 mg Vitamin C tablet from the pharmacy (you can also use two 500mg)
  • Tincture of iodine (2%) also from the pharmacy
  • Hydrogen peroxide (3%) yep, also from the pharmacy
  • Liquid laundry starch (see below for alternatives)
  • Safety goggles
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cup
  • An adult helper

  1. Put on those safety goggles and mash the 1000 mg Vitamin C tablet by placing it into a plastic bag and crushing it with a rolling pin or the back of a large spoon. Get it into as much of a fine powder as possible. Then put all the powder in the first cup and add 2 ounces (60 ml) of warm water. Stir for at least 30 seconds. (The water may be a little cloudy) Let’s call this “LIQUID A”
  2. Now put 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of your LIQUID A into a new cup and add to it: 2 oz (60 ml) of warm water and 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of the iodine. Notice the brown iodine turned clear! Let’s call this “LIQUID B.” By the way, you’re done with LIQUID A - you can put it aside.
  3. In the last cup, mix 2 oz of warm water, 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) of the hydrogen peroxide and 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of the liquid starch. This is, you guessed it, “LIQUID C”
  4. Okay, that was a lot of preparation, on to the fun part. Gather the friends and family and pour all of LIQUID B into LIQUID C. Then pour them back and fourth between the 2 cups a few times. Place the cup down and observe….be patient....somewhere between a few seconds and a few minutes, the liquid will suddenly turn dark blue!

This is an example of the chemical reaction know as the IODINECLOCK REACTION. It is called a clock reaction because you can change the amount if time it takes for the liquids to turn blue. (see experiments below) The chemistry of the demonstration gets a bit complicated, but basically it is a battle of chemistry between the starch which is trying to turn the iodine blue, and the Vitamin C which is keeping it from turning blue. Eventually the Vitamin C loses and, bam! - you get instant blueness.

Note: If you do not have liquid starch, you can also use 1/2 teaspoon of corn starch or potato starch. The liquids will be more cloudy and the reaction will happen a bit more slowly, but it’s still impressive.
Clean up: Carefully pour all liquids down the drain with plenty of water and wash your hands. Recycle the cups or dispose of them in the trash.

The project above is a DEMONSTRATION. To make it a true experiment, you can try to answer these questions:
1. Does the temperature of the water affect how quickly the liquids turn blue?
2. Does the amount of Vitamin C added (Liquid A) affect how fast the liquid turns blue?
3. Does stirring the liquids more affect how fast the liquids turn blue?

Atlantic City, glad I went.

The Boardwalk in Atlantic City, just a couple months ago. I ended up going on a road trip to NYC and since I was all the way up there I decided to stop in Atlantic City, NJ. I'm really glad that I did now. Half of the stuff I ended up taking pictures of isn't even there anymore.

I haven't seen any pictures from this part. Or if I did then maybe it looks so different that I just didn't recognize it anymore.

It really was a beautiful day at the beach.

I'm not sure what church that is, but it was really interesting looking.

I just really liked the bright colors on this building.

I saw some pictures that showed all of this fencing in a totally different area of town.

Kind of wondering if this place is still intact. I haven't seen any pictures of this building. Its right next to the beach, so it might be gone. I know one place I had lunch at before I left was wiped out.

This is a split aerial before and after in atlantic city.

that boardwalk was ripped up like toothpicks and it was strong enough for cars to drive on.

It's kind of nice to see that not everything near the beach was destroyed.

There was and still is tons of sand in the streets.

part of the boardwalk.

If you want to donate money to the Red Cross <--- click there to help with the Hurricane Sandy Relief effort. I will be donating as much as I can. Also you can buy some stickers or sunglasses <--- click there to go to my ebay account. I will be donating as much as my profits this month as I can afford to. I'm hoping to give at least 25% or more. It just depends on how many sales I make. I have posted way more items then I usually have posted at one time. So hopefully I'll be able to raise a decent amount.
